Rebecca Rawlinson and Alexandra Suhner Isenberg’s relationship began over drinks at a Vancouver fashion party and soon they found themselves enjoying spa days and fawning over each other Hermes’ handbags. But it wasn’t until the launch of Rebecca’s boutique and Alexandra’s sleepwear line that the relationship was cemented. Alexandra makes pretty nightwear under the label The Sleep Shirt, and Rebecca has a beautiful clothing store whose customer has a penchant for the finer things in life, including great looking sleepwear.
After several successful seasons of working together, Alexandra and Rebecca decided to join forces and create a special exclusive nightwear set for her store. They started with The Sleep Shirt’s classic short nightshirt, then Rebecca and her dream team chose, from a variety of pretty cottons, a blush pink polka dot fabric. They added an eyemask, a gift box, and decided to call it “Bonne Nuit” because Rebecca has a fondness for Paris and Alexandra is half French.
The set is priced at $225 and features the Short Sleep Shirt, a classic nightshirt with a roomy cut, a dropped shoulder, and a placket that ends halfway down the chest. The eyemask is filled with 100% cotton batting and the set comes in a kraft paper gift box – the perfect gift for family, friends, or oneself. You’ll find Alexandra wearing hers set over long breakfasts in her husband’s country house in the Swedish forest, while Rebecca will be dressed in the nightshirt while she devours Harper’s Bazaar while sipping champagne and eating too much Belgian chocolate.
Available for a limited time, Bonne Nuit by The Sleep Shirt and Rebecca Bree is a collaboration between a Canadian sleepwear company and a Vancouver boutique who are helping women sleep in style.
